The Cape and Islands Podcast
Welcome to the Cape & Islands Podcast where we cover local people, their stories, important community topics, interesting visitors, some history and most importantly work to build a stronger community within Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket collectively.
This podcast will have multiple series and hosts over time. In addition to standard format interviews, one series I am excited about is the "Cozy Corner" where we'll have bands come into the Trove Art Gallery in Orleans and play live original music while also telling us a little about their band and history. Cozy Corner videos will be posted on the Cape & Islands Podcast YouTube page and the audio will be streamed through the standard podcast streaming platforms.
I am your host Clarke (future hosts will be added to the stable) my back story is I am a washashore resident of Cape Cod and moved here in 2018. I own Trove Art Gallery & Boutique in Orleans which I opened in 2019 as well as Checkpoint East Recording Studio and Safe Harbor Records which launched in 2020, also located in Orleans. While I may not be from here originally, I hope to do a good job promoting all of the fantastic local people that I have the privilege of meeting often through my various businesses. I am also a board member of WOMR Radio out of Provincetown. Thank you for listening and please do share feedback and recommendations for topics or guests at any time.
Cozy Corner videos are filmed by myself and Meegan Minahan, and are edited by the very talented Meegan. Sound engineering for Cozy Corner episodes by Logan Tichnor. All podcast interview episodes are edited and produced by myself.

Artist & Creator Rob Nitsch on Exploring Generative A.I. Art (and Much More)
In this episode I speak with my friend and accomplished artist & creator Rob Nitsch. As a professional photographer, cinematographer, designer and visual effects artist Rob has accomplished great things in his career. In the past few years Rob has dug deep into generative Artificial Intelligence, more specifically MidJourney; you may be surprised by this as he is a professionally trained artist who sells in galleries and makes a living off of original works, making his approach to A.I. art quite intriguing.
Rob started a YouTube Channel InbetweenStops many years ago where he initially focused on photography, but has transitioned into an A.I. centric channel that discusses art history and various styles by utilizing A.I. This has brought a fresh audience, and in many cases a younger audience, into the fold where they're learning proper composition, styles, history and how to create emotion in compositions that they may have never understood or learned prior to the A.I. revolution. We also reference Rob's new extreme sports channel which he will share with his son, titled SonofaNitsch! We further mention my D.E.M.P.S.E.Y YouTube Channel so check them all out and you'll see why Rob's is growing much quicker!
Rob's Instagram page, also titled InbetweenStops, showcases his amazing photography, please do check that out.
We also discuss Rob's successful Class Action Lawsuit against the film industry, check out both of these stories, one at the START and one at the END of the process. Click Start or End to read the articles.
Thank you so much Rob for coming on the show and please do come back again, there is much more to talk about!
